I went to medical school at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. While at the College, I did a teaching fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine under the guidance of Viola Frymann, D.O.

I have done an internship in general medicine at Lansing General Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. I obtained further training through an internship in Pediatrics at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

I worked for four years with the Indian Health Service in Alaska and Minnesota. This gave me a great deal of experience in general medicine and in applying osteopathic principles to treating people with a variety of common and serious illnesses.

I have had the honor of being trained by some of the foremost osteopaths in the country, including Robert Fulford, Viola Frymann, Fred Mitchell, Jr., and Phillip Greenman.

I am Board Certified in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and I have received the competency certification in cranial osteopathy.

In addition, I have been on the faculty of the two national organizations that provide post-graduate training in osteopathic manipulation.

You might find this article about my practice to be informative: "If your wrist hurts, why do I work on your pelvis?" (see page 32).
